I can be in the worst mood ever and as soon as I put in this DVD and start doing the warm-ups I have a smile on my face. I don't know what it is, but it works. The music is fantastic! I love the warm-up for this one and also the hip opening sequence. The presets are great if you want to target a certain area or you are short on time:
Quick Bliss (20 min)
Quick Hips (30 min)
Mood Uplift Workout (40 min)
Hip Release/Heart Opening (45 min)
I like the Quick Hips and Hip Release/Heart Opening the best. When my hips are loosened up I just feel like I can move forward through my day better. I love this one for those days when I am feeling a little low and in need of a pick-me-up or for a shorter workout when I don't have the energy for anything too rigorous.

This was the first DVD I purchased in the Kundalini series. I have arthritis in my hips and this was a great warming and opening session for me. Although I was unable to do the entire DVD, I continue to work on my Breath of Fire. I especially love the spiritual aspect of all the DVDs from Ana and Ravi. The Mantras are very soothing and effective. I find Ana's demonstrations clear and love the narative from Ravi and the fact that he always points out the benefits of the movements.....this DVD inspired me to purchase more of their work....

I watched this workout before attempting it, but it wasn't until I did the DVD that I felt, "hey, I can do this". It is a perfect complement to Beauty Body, and Dance the Chakras. Neither of them make me sore any longer, but I still get a bit of a challenge.
Of course the music, Ana's presence and direction, and Ravi's direction and verbal skills are golden. So is the production value. Golden.
I have all but one of their DVD's. Ravi and Ana are the same amazing teachers every time, though the production value gets better and better.
I am hooked.

This has some serious hip opening and some really cool music. It is a lot of fun, like all the Ana & Ravi dvds I have tried. I have been collecting them all because they have made me fall in love with yoga. I have so much more energy and stamina, I even think clearer and don't have so much fear. I could go on and on. This is an awesome DVD! First you open your hips, then you do some ab and upper body work that is simultaneously working on your moods. It is a total blast!

I'm so in love with this DVD! It starts with some warm-ups and then segues into a great hip-opening series. I had the original version and have since upgraded to the new matrix version, which lets you program your workout without having to deal with the remote midstream. I was pleased to discover that the matrix version has some added hip opening exercises. After the hip opening set there are two additional segments which include ab work as well as upper body exercises. There is also a meditation at the end of the program which can, quite frankly, change your life. Overall, this is one of the best investments you'll ever make.
