Bissell little green machine~ mostly works great January 8, 2009
Bissell 1400B Little Green Multi-Purpose Compact Earth-Friendly Deep Cleaner For the most part this machine works great. Especially for doggie and kid spills but I purchased it after renting a Rug doctor in hopes of cleaning some mattresses that were used. The Rug doctor took everything out with NO problem, it was a cinch but this Little green machine couldnt even come close! Like I said, its good for smaller spills but I still wish they had a mini rug doctor I could take home! OH well, maybe someday!

My boss owns a motor home and complained that the carpet gets dirty too quick - I bought him this machine for Christmas and he LOVES IT!!!
Great Product January 7, 2009
We have been looking for something to get dried puppy spit up off a velvet sofa...boy did this do the trick. Patience is the key though, we had to squirt and brush several times until it removed it fully.
 Doesn't work 100% on cat puke January 6, 2009
This product is good but not excellent. I think it would be worth it to spend a little more to get the spot bot. This product works, but is not 100% effective at removing cat puke (the primary reason we purchased it). After spending a lot of time and elbow grease working to remove the stain traces of it are still visible.

My wife picked this up as an impulse, as we needed something to clean our canvas couch once in awhile.
First... The spray path of the chemical is easily 5 times larger than the suction head. You will be cleaning up your floor and the surrounding furniture more than you will the object you are actually trying to clean. I was honestly soaking wet and had to place a face towel over the sprayer so it would not spray a 4 ft path.
Second, it doesnt pick up 1/4 of the water it sprays. The suction is terrible on this, I went through two full solution tanks and the other collection tank had barely an inch if that of dirty water.
DO NOT BUY THIS. It is very poorly designed and you will spend more time cleaning the surrounding area than cleaning the actual furniture.
